he's not even my No1 idol and in BOF, he's not one of the flower boys that i like but wth...i just spend $120 on unnecessary stuff in order to get a chance to see him. got the idea???? Etude House is bringing Minoz to Spore on 24 Oct 09 and in order to participate in the event that Minoz is in it, customer needs to spend $15 and will be given a scratch card...the more you spend the more scratch cards will be given...so the lucky ones with the "kitten head(s)" on the scratch card will be given ticket to the event.........really money suckers right???? believe me...coz me and my friends spend almost $500 and not even one of us is lucky :C

durian..durian..durian again. this time we went to the store that was recommended by 8days.
we have 3 mao san wang, 1 red prawn and 1D24 coz the stall only have these 3 varieties only for that day....what a pity...i still miss "golden phoenix" and "black pearl" :C it's already end of season for these 2 varieties

went for a durian session with colleague last friday at east coast.....this stall was recommended by ieatishootipost blog....we tried the so called "higher end" type of durian.........mmmmmmmmmm..really really yummy......minus the "burp" part later on..

first we tried "red prawn"........not really that fantastic coz it was quite "watery". end of season...that was what the seller told us. it just $7 per kg so no complaint lah...........

golden phoenix........the durian itself is so cute. i think each durian is not heavier than 600g or 700g. though it was small but..........full of flesh. a mixture of bitter sweet.nice combination. really value for money and i like it . 1kg cost $13. we have 4 of this little durian coz we just can't get enough of it

moa san wang.....mmm..loose translation should be king of the jungle???????this was huge. the flesh is thick and the seed it big too. actually it cost much lesser than last year coz 1kg was like $18 to $20 last year but surprisingly this year it only cost $13. if i were to rate this, i will give it 3.75/5 not really up to it name.....

last but not least, we tried black pearl. we're quite lucky in the sense that it was quite rare to get this. how does it taste???????????? all five of us vote this as the best......it was really yummy...the flesh is smooth and i just dunno how to describe the taste of it..its really really good and value for money too coz 1kg just cost $10

total bill for 1 red prawn,4 little golden phoenix, 1 moa san wang and 1 black pearl=$89, so divide by 5 of us, 1 person = $17.80= value for money

received the dvd yesterday :D but the excitement turn into ㅠ.ㅠ, when i open the sealed box..............
WTH x.x got 잔디 c-card. never like her character from beginning to the end coz she's too annoying, loud, over acting and etc etc etc. there was this saying "the more you hate a thing, you'll likely end up getting it"...so this is true, i end up getting her card...sucks.....................

the only motivation that keep my spirit going on surviving BOF is 소이정 & 가을 and that's the only reason i bought this expensive korean version. with the amount that i paid, i can easily get a few sets of the local version. luck don't seem to be my side. i don't mind getting the other casts c-card but not her

the notebook and lollipops comes free from the seller....was hoping to get 이정 notebook and not 준표...........so everything was a big letdown ㅠ.ㅠ ㅠ.ㅠ

at last have the chance to have this meal coz have been postponing it for ......like months. at last fixed a date and whoever can't make it, thats it. so 7 of us.........the usual makan kaki's with the exception of alice and aileen joined in this makan session.

crispy chicken rojak..from pic it seem not appetizing but in real...GOOD

looks ordinary but the gravy tastes good.the chilli padi add hotness to it. i like coz i love spicy food

the butter crab is super shiok....love..love..love. This version are way too better than the "no signboard" ones

attended colleague wedding last wednesday~10 Dec. a simple wedding though coz it's not the typical 8 or 10 course dinner we "chinese"usually had. it's just a vegetarian buffet spread. though have lots of variety but what do you expect when it comes to the term "vegetarian". so the food ......i shall say..........sucks. i don't enjoy it. its either too starchy, gluey...not up to the par.

my friday night dinner was really GooD. thanks to ct-hq for inviting my dept to attend your winning celebration.my 2d time having buffet at kushin bo and as usual the quality of the food is good especially the crab. so juicy and fresh.i just had one though but i do eat lots of sashimi : salmon and tuna.

watching the Korean Pop Night at SBS channel was .........emmmmmmmmm........bring back memories of the "fun-nesss" and excitement seeing the artiste performing live. 2PM was great with their performances ~ their energetic dance movement 짱!, VOS ~ great voices from each of them (kinda remind me of sg wannabe), u~kiss...i like their songs , kevin and DongHo=cuteness,

jewelry ~ baby one more time...i love this phrase...know this phrase only from the whole song until cas was like "aiyoh....only know this phrase and keep singing this phrase only hah?",andy ~ "love song" was very entertaining ...the heart shape movement....kim jong wook~ too bad, he just sang one song only.."gudae mani"..very nice ballad song, chae yeon ~ smexy lady but i think seo in young is more smexy , junjin ~ since he got to perform first, the audience was in a high mood, wondergirls ~ gorgeous ladies that bring the house down with "nobody" and "tell me".the most enjoyable performance with audience screaming "nobody", "tell me" and "omona"

....oooooo...i really hope it will be an annual event. watching it really makes me "miss" the event.

since this is the only activity, brought cas to join in the fun. we reach there bout 11am...only saw a few people scattered around the side of the stage waiting for the fansign. the schedule was 1pm. since we're early, got a good spot. by 12 noon there was quite a big turnout of jewelry fans. later on bout 12.30 noon the emcee for the day Li Yi appeared and announced that the organizer will giving out an A4 size poster of jewerly for the fansign.. bout 400 pcs will be giving out. everything turns out well coz the girls are puntual. they appeared bout 1.05pm...so no wasting of time for waiting them to appear...good ...good...

attended the korean pop night 2008 at the s'pore indoor stadium on 4th nov with cas. enjoyable night though our block was quite far from the stage. the stage kinda small compared to rain's concert stage that was held last year. the concert starts at 8pm and finished off at 10pm. so fasssstttt...all artistes sang two songs except kim jong wook who sang one song 그대 만이 why just one song??? and ohhhh ya...there are 2 guest artistes for that night : lee an (a korean based in s'pore) and another girl...carrie (s'pore artiste)??? dunno...not interested in them

went to airport to "stars gazing" tonite...wow..been there so many times to "stars gazing", this is my first time seeing and hearing the marvelous fans chanting and singing (damnnnn louddd ..........) for their favourite artistes. i think the loudest should be between 2pm fans and andy shinhwa fans.the fans are super high tonite....it's really excited.......everyone was super duper high...

too bad wondergirls will only be here tomorrow but managed to catch a glimpse of 2pm and ukiss members (first class view coz i was standing at the front of the glass door, so when they come out i was just a few inches from them)....2pm was really nice.....once they come out they starts to bow and nichkhun was damn cute and super nice....some lucky girls got a "hand brush" from him and another 2pm guy...i don't know who they are actually, only knew nichkhun only.tsk tsk tsk...and what can i say..his smile is great.....overall 2pm members were really great in person. i like the way they acknowledged their fans..two thumbs up for 2pm...ukiss members is nice too but not as outstanding as 2pm.

i didn't managed to get a glimpse of andy or seo in young. everything was a hush hush affair.......waiting them for more than 2 hours but they just appeared for a few seconds only.

can't believe it when i saw the ad at the newspaper. the price was $98 with 2 years plan.ok..this is real cheap coz last week was like $268 with plan..i was "so" gonna get it moreover my m1 plan was long due for upgrade..so might as well take this opportunity to upgrade and at the same time can get the free tics to the kpop night..so is a win win kind of thing...without contract lg is selling it for $528

the classic moment was when i asked the salesperson about the concert tickets when she attended to me for the purchasing of the handphone..she asked me "so you're more interested in the tickets rather than the phone?"... and when she handed the tickets and the phone to me to check, rather than checking the phone, i was busy checking the details printed in the tickets..this reaction really bemuse her...she said "wahhhh..so you're buying this phone just because of the tickets arggggg...the tickets is more important than the phone" LOL

True, but that doesn't mean that they have only been preparing for 2 months. ~~DBSK~~ started working on their album since the beginning of the year, and while BB worked hard on their mini-album and its promotions, so did ~~DBSK~~. I'm not trying to bash BB (cause I'm a huge fan of their music), but if VIPs say that BB deserves to win Artist of the Year purely because they've been active in Korea longer than ~~DBSK~~, no offense, but that reason just sounds weak and irrelevant.

In retrospect, while BB fans are saying that BB deserves to win b/c they've been in Korea longer, ~~DBSK~~ fans are saying that ~~DBSK~~ deserves to win because they've been gone for almost two years and this is their big comeback. To me, both reasons just seem blah, cause the real winner deserves to win not because they've been active longer or they've been gone for 2 years but because they are the better singer/musicians.

Some of you might point out that ~~DBSK~~ fans will also try to cheat by making multiple accounts. True, but I have yet to see them cheat to this magnitude (70 accounts? that's just ridiculous). You don't have to take my word for it, but just jump over to the ~~DBSK~~ thread and I assure you that no ~~DBSK~~ fan there are making 70 accounts just to vote for ~~DBSK~~. And no one over there bashes BB like some (not all) are bashing ~~DBSK.~~

So in conclusion, before any of you jump at my throat for not siding with BB and defending ~~DBSK~~, note that as a fan of both groups, I try to look at this objectively, cause really, both groups are awesome and deserve to win.

wth...it is a trend or something for korean artiste nowadays???....that's was my reaction when May told me bout Choi Jin Sil dead this morning and the dead was not because of illnesses, accident or whatever but by committing suicide. i was like what will happened to her two kids. she has gone through so much hardship in order to get custody for the kids and now she just choose this path. i know she is suffering from depression and her mind was not her usual self but can't she live for her kids?????? on the other hand i feel so sad for her.....her life was not as rosy as we thought of, choosing to end her life and leaving her kids behind her was the most difficult decision she ever made in her life :(

Top actress Choi Jin-sil was found dead Thursday morning in her home in what appears to be a suicide. She was found in a shower booth with pressure band wrapped around her neck.

Police says that her body was discovered by her family member at 6:15 and police arrived at the scene around 7:30. No suicide note was found. The details and circumstances of her death are still being investigated.

Choi has been under enormous pressure lately from rumors implicating her in the suicide death of TV actor Ahn Jae-hwan, husband of Choi’s close friend, comedienne Jung Sun-hee. Internet postings accused Choi of lending about 2 million dollars to Ahn, indirectly driving him to his death. Police arrested a 25-year-old securities firm employee in late September for initiating the false rumor in cyber space.

Choi debuted in 1988 on a TV historical drama and since then has played numerous leading roles in both TV and films. She rose to stardom in the romantic TV drama “Jealousy” in 1992, and starred in such hits as “You and Me,” “Bad Woman, Good Woman,” “Rose and Bean Sprouts,” and “My Rosy Life.” Her latest starring role was in “The Last Scandal of My Life” the spring of 2008, which put her back in the limelight as the most bankable middle-aged star.

While enjoying professional success, her personal life, on the other hand, has been full of ups and downs. She married then baseball star Cho Sung-min in December 2000, but divorced him five years later. They have two children, whose last name was changed from “Cho” to their maternal sir name “Choi” this year. Well-known for her fierce loyalty and strong friendship with a small group of celebrities, which include comediennes Jung Sun-hee and Lee Young-ja and models Lee So-ra and Hong Jin-kyung among others, she was apparently devastated by the death of Ahn and the ensuing rumors. thought of getting inner earphones but cas told me it's not good for our ears...so end up getting this normal sony stereo earphones. what i have to say bout this earphones is ....it's much better than the ipod ones...the sound quality is way better.getting tired of the mixstyle mini clip-on, really disappointed with it...sucks big time...the quality don't justified with the price at all

on half day leave today....attending ryu siwon fanmeet...interesting for me coz this is my first time seeing him in person (although he came to spore twice before and the last time he came was like 3 years ago, i didn't bother to stalk him coz he's not exactly the guy that i love to see and watch in drama)..he was in town coz of F1, he's a big fan of car racing and he race too....ok...he looks so much different from pics and onscreen, he looks good in person...boyish to be precise and you just can't tell that he is actually 36 years old. from this first meeting, find that he is really a nice guy coz he bother to bring along his stuff eg his 2009 calendar and sign on it for the lucky draw winners...and the lucky gals got a hug from him, he score points for this from me. beside that he was so sweet to let the spore fans to listen to his japanese album first although the album will only be released in october. overall he is really a guy who appreciate his fans alot. the words that he said, the appreciation that he showed when he received his birthday cake and gifts really makes me appreciate his sincerity. he will be in my list of stars with the power of good public relation skill. rYu siWon....fighting.......

wisma atria laniege counter....the schedule of the meet-up was 5pm but she came bout nearly to 6pm...and worst still, she just stayed for bout 10 minutes only...and the crowd was so uncivilized, keep pushing without even thinking bout other people safety and can't even listen to simple instruction not to move forward and crowd near shk ( not all of them though...)

went to airport to bid farewell to bin & hye kyo. hyun bin was smiling all the way and waving his hand ...me and kath have a real good deal when both of us waited for hyun bin at the entrance of the departure checkpoint... so we seen him face to face and he waved at us when we called out his name... he looks real good in white polo t and jeans...and the headphone (an audio technica) just suit the color of his attire...song hye kyo came later on..bout a few minutes later than hyun bin. she looks pretty in a black dress...coz the previous 2 occasion i saw her, she was in jeans and t-shirt. the sweetest moment was me and kath initiated other fans to shout hyun bin name when he was inside the checkpoint and surprisingly he turn around and wave at us again with a big smile :)

koreans have ddok while we chinese have mooncakes for mid autumn festival

at last today is the mid autumn festival...no more mooncakes...really have phobia towards mooncakes especially the traditional type eg: a whole mooncake with just lotus paste or come together with egg yolk...i really don't know how to appreciate it...

the worst mooncake that i have for this year might be from this" tah chong guo"brand..it supposed to be a household name here and every year you will see people queueing up at its outlet....the lotus paste is soooo sweet and dark in colour...errrr...really not my taste

the shop don't have many variety of 떡...end up buying pumpkin with red bean 떡 coz i love pumpkin and red bean...nice combination :) have a chewy texture and the sweetness is just right

had dinner at Raffles City ~The Soup Spoon.usual fare : mushroom soup...really delicious coz come with lots of bits & chucks of mushroom. (mushroom soup should be like this anyway).. there are so many type of soup there but "me" always end up ordering mushroom soup -_-" The wrapped tikka chicken was a big letdown. just don't like it..the taste...moreover quite soggy...just don't like it...no more next time for this, btw the naan was nice...hot and soft, so it goes well with the soup

after dinner, head to Marina Bay Waterfront for the fireworks display. a big letdown. ..Lucky the "tixs" are all sold out, if not i might just spend $18 for nothing. Though the schedule was 9pm but it started bout 9.10 or 9.15 and the fireworks just last for bout 10 or 15 minutes only. nothing fantastic...only the very last minute of the display is commendable, others than that.............um...um..um...

Popular actor and fashion model Eon (27, real name Park Sang-min) died early Thursday morning from a motorcycle accident.According to police reports, Eon attended a party to celebrate the final episode of KBS 2TV's drama series "Chilwu, the Mighty" after midnight on August 21 and got into an accident while on his way home.At the time of the accident, the late actor's management agency said the details of the accident have yet to be confirmed and that his parents were on their way to Seoul from Busan.

Lazy bug have been bugging me this few week. watched clips of him in action for the semi-final on the way back home from mobileTV...kinda sad too coz the defeated player is from koRea :( ...the best moment is seeing this m'sia boy runs toward and jump over to his coach after his winning...so sweet of him...shows that he had a good relationship and feel grateful to his coach...

ok..i'm a crazy 아줌마....although i don't have any connection or whatsoever with koRea but i'm routing for Team Korea....reason being : all my fav actors, actresses, singers and stuff are all from koRea . Guess what i discover in this summer olympic????......found a new idol : 박태환 So far he has won a gold (400m) and a silver (200m) medal for koRea in swimming. Really good rite coz he won for both the event he's competing. Hopefully he gets a medal (what colour will do) for the 1500m 화이팅!! 오 필승 코리아.......

TAEYANG CONCERT TOTAL SOLD-OUT, PRICE OF TICKET RESALE WENT UP AS HIGH AS TO 400,000 WON

Singer Taeyang’s first solo concert this coming 20th July, tickets to the concert was all sold out. Not only was the advance sale response online overwhelming, last weekend the 4000 tickets to the concert were totally sold out. There was also underground resale of the tickets amongst fans, and the price of the tickets for resale went up to as high as 400,000 Won.

A YG Entertainment representative said, “Normally, even if the concert is sold out, there are many cases of the tickets being resold when there is no fixed time for payment of the tickets. But for TaeYang’s case, the payment of the tickets were fixed early, and there were fans who did not get the tickets and wished to get them. The demand for resale tickets get so high to the extent that the price of the resale ticket went up to 400,000 won.”

TaeYang has also been practising hard lately so as to give to his 20s and 30s age range fans the best performance. The representative also added, “TaeYang has been practising hard. This is bring to the best the best performances to the fans, be it the piano, R&B or pop song performances that they want.”

This time, what was special for this concert is that there are different concert performances for fans in their teens and fans in their 20s or older. This is so that the fans would be able to enjoy the concert under different atmospheres. Those who are 12 years and above, will be able to enjoy the first concert performance at 5pm, while those who are 18 years and above will be able to enjoy the second concert performance for the day at 8pm.

TaeYang’s solo concert “Hot” will take place this coming 20th July at 5pm and 8pm in Seoul Melon Ax. Recently TaeYang’s popularity has been going up after the release of his solo debut song “Look Only At Me”. It is also planned for Big Bang to have their comeback at the end of this month.

i just don't feel good today but at least i feel quite happy (forget all my worries) when i watched the english subs of Brain Battle feat. taeyang,top and seungri :( i feel so" sad & worry???" since last night after PeiSze told me that she's going to rent out the whole house out next year coz they no longer will be coming in to stay during weekend since the kids schooling schedule clashed with vincent's working schedule.....so now i'm stuck with this prob...i need to find a place to stayyyy...that's sucks...now i find that LIFE SUCKS..i don't even need to bother bout this for 8 years , now i have to crack my brain to find a place to live...got so many things...guess just need to throw it away..ya..throw everythin'..throw everythin' =.=

yesterday evening when out dinner at "no signboard" with bey,sebas,sophie,linda and chris...bey craved for crab...emmm..their food standard (taste) have dropped drastically. the noodle and mussel was quite salty, the butter crab don't taste that "shiok" but the crayfish and white pepper crab are delicious. total cost bout $193 only with free soursop dessert...not bad..., quite reasonable price. later on chris suggest that since we're at geylang area, might as well we go to eat durian...ohlala...so off we go...although our tummy was quite full but we just can't resist ourselves to durian :P

have these cakes for tea break. shared with bey..these cakes are yummylicious....two thumbs up..."die die must try".really worth the money paid. each piece is about $5.80...ok...next round i want to try other flavour...

my lunch & dinner for last week...."i live to eat & also "i eat to live".

mon: roasted pork rice / tues: curry wanton mee

wed: chicken herbal soup / thur: chicken rice
=.= i think i cannot live without rice. but actually these lunch is bought by my colleague. i just ate whatever she bought for me coz i'm such a lazy bum....i hate to go out during lunch hour.

fri: subway club sandwich

sat dinner with rose 언니,cas & reen in one of the restaurant in JJ (the one featured in one of channel 8 prog. hosted by chen liping & cynthia koh). the pork ribs curry is yummy

sun dinner: love kfc...been craving for it like a week already

having cupcake for teatime today..nice cupcakes ya.....& taste quite good too but a little pricey. cost $3.80 to $4.20 per piece

this morning each staff is given 3 booklet of coupons to sell ;( sell to who?????? each booklet cost $10, it's for charity. i decided to buy 1 booklet and the rest i shall return it moreover the carnival is held in ang mo kio...so far away....( i know, it's for charity, it's for a good deed...i shouldn't grumble....)

i want a new handphone ( a pink one ~ to be precise)............but i can't decide...

LG Viewty or Samsung TouchWiz, LG Viewty or Samsung TouchWiz, LG Viewty or Samsung TouchWiz.........(made up my mind not to wait or get aPPle iPhone coz i have iPod touch already)

m1 is having promo for lg viewty, just cost $228 only with 2 years plan. so much cheaper than singtel. singtel having it for $368 with 2 years plan (and i'm with singtel) and it comes in black only. but the shop assistant is willing to help me get the pink version (coz the pink ones are sold exclusively without plan in LG shops only) but i need to give him reply within 3 days..arggggggg.. i can't decide moreover read somewhere in the net that LG will comes out with an updated version of Viewty...so shall i wait???????? or just part with $368 ( i think is expensive compared to m1 plan)

as i was browsing, this cute phone caught my eyes....ohhh...Samsung Haptic ( the cf where dbsk & snsd collabarate) but it known as Samsung TouchWiz here...but too bad, it's only in black ( i hate to say this : why can't they bring in the coloured ones, why must it be black, black, black or silver..damn boring..why can't let us "coloured" our life????, koreans are the lucky ones coz they have it in pink there) it's rather cheap, bout $200++ only with m1 plan...duhhhh...

someThinG to sHare : ~ i always believe that oneself should have a religion to direct our journey of life. a good reflection to ourself. lots of things happened in life that's make you just wanna believe their is HIM

we are all travelers who ought to go a long journey before us
though each one of us started this journey at a different time
some are walking lightly some are walking even one step very heavily
nobody knows when this journey ends
but everybody knows that there is an end

because the way we are walking on is lonely and tough
we all are seeking for a partner to walk together
we think that if there's somebody to love me and to be with me
this journey won't be a problem
that only with enough expenditure this journey won't be so tough
that provided many people acknowledge me

i might even enjoy this journey but we are missing
that it is impossible for anyone to walk with us till the end
nobody can lead us from the end of this journey into a new one
except him only.....

there are several people who are carrying a ladder to cross to a new road
sometimes they feel the pressure by the ladder
but knowing the value of it they walk with gladness
many are walking without knowing the value of walking with him
other have gone for someone else, forgetting the importance of walking with him

those who are walking with him to introduce the true companionship to others
those who are far from this followship need to remember

fried potatoes~nicely sliced from a whole potato, swirling...must have technique and skill to do this, but the taste: so so only, maybe due to the type of potatoes they used, chicken balls : tried it at least once, chicken sausage : ummmm..... ;) in korea, these stuff taste really "shiok" but not here

the most anticipating album...so hot.... finally reach me (18 June), usually received it after 8 or 9 days after shipment date but this time around it tooks 13 days to reach me. even called up singpost to check the status but the customer service officer can't help much coz don't have the tracking numbers......really annoyed and freaked out ...phewww..thought it got lost in transit but all ends well.

머리없어??? to all the damn idiotic scheduler for the train. can't you all increase the numbers of train during the morning peak hour eg : 7am to 9am. wth and logic for you all to increase the numbers of train during lunch hours that only benefit a small margin of people??? can't you all brainless people cut short the waiting time. bad to worse...that how bad is the transport system here. 7 minutes for a train to arrive, the train will stalled for a few minutes...so add up = ???, waiting for a bus = ??? minutes. wasting time just for waiting, waiting and waiting

it's been a week since i went back to melaka with Rose 언니 & family. the last time i went back to melaka was CNY..so it's about 4 months + already. times really fly....nothing much to do in melaka beside : eat...eat...& eat...Pa's bought lots of stuff for breakfast : popiah, apambalik, curry noodle, kwayteow,pau,carrot cake, nasi lemak...wow..just like having buffet..lots of food to eat although just stayed for two days only. not forgotten too, Pa's signature dish: peanut gravy rojak(forgot to take pic coz was too buzy eating)..i'm missing it already..drooool........ & not forgotten too..mom's sambal prawn with petai...really shiok...

today (or rather ..yesterday coz i'm posting this in a Sunday morning) decided to go to bugis junction. it been quite some times since i went there. as usual went to kino...browse for bout half an hour, end up didn't get anything from there. Don't have any mags or books that tempted me to part with my money -.- why can't they have korean mags. boring...
...went into Poh Kim Videos shop....old k-dramas and the price was like oMo Omo..suPer ex..BoRiNg...gramaphone...very limited choice of k-pop...super borinG..shoes at DMK, want to get it but don't have the size that i want..oh BoRed, BorEd
